Advertising
The advertising team, located within Biola’s Office of University Communications and Marketing, is responsible for crafting and executing advertising plans that build Biola’s brand and generate revenue. While the term “marketing” is applicable to many kinds of promotional efforts, “advertising” refers narrowly to paid media.

Biola’s advertising team and agency partners expertly execute campaigns on many paid media channels, including (but not limited to):
Paid Search
- Text ads embedded in Google searches
Connected TV
- 30-second video ads on the top 100 channels in streaming TV
YouTube
- 6-, 15- and 30-second video ads on streaming video
Digital Radio
- Audio and video ads on streaming radio (e.g. Spotify)
Digital Banner Ads
- Static and .gif promotional banners deployed around the web
Paid Social Media
- Ads on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
- Physical print ads in select magazines, college guides, etc.
OOH
- Out of Home ads (e.g. billboards)
Terrestrial Radio
- Audio ads on traditional radio stations
