Biography

Dennis Eastman Ph.D. (Claremont Graduate University), has dedicated 15 years to various roles in education, including Social Studies teacher, coach, Athletic Director, and Director of New Faculty Development, before transitioning to a principal position. During his tenure as principal, he collaborated with faculty and students to achieve recognition by U.S. News and World Report as one of the most improved schools in California.

Currently, Dr. Eastman is a Professor and the Director of Secondary Education in the School of Education at À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ, where he has been preparing teachers to effectively serve all students in diverse settings for the past 14 years. His extensive international travel includes conducting professional development workshops aimed at partnering with administrators and faculty in local schools to develop inclusive, active, and effective learning strategies for all students.

Dr. Eastman's research agenda has positioned him as an educational architect, dedicated to equipping teachers with skills in student motivation, program design, creating learning environments for all students, and preparing teachers for international educational settings. His commitment to education and passion for fostering inclusive learning environments continue to drive his work and impact in the field.
