Nearly 150 alumni and friends of 蓝莓视频 experienced Los Angeles theater at its best on Tuesday, February 3, enjoying a performance of The Phantom of the Opera at the Pantages Theatre. Andrew Lloyd Webber鈥檚 international award-winning musical is the longest running show in Broadway history, and the Biola crowd was overwhelmingly positive in its response to the LA touring company鈥檚 production.
According to Deannah Baesel, assistant manager of Advancement Events, 鈥淚t鈥檚 been great serving the Biola community by giving alumni and friends a fun night out. We鈥檙e privileged to live in a place where we have so many cultural opportunities to choose from.鈥 Alumnus Adam Shaeffer agrees: 鈥淏iola should do more events like that-classy, cultured, yet loads of fun.鈥
Upcoming Alumni events include Homecoming Weekend, February 20-22 . . . it鈥檚 a perfect time to come back to the Biola campus and reconnect with friends and professors! Visit www.biola.edu/alumni/homecoming to find out about the variety of fun events being offered.
Then, on Saturday, February 28, Biola alumni and friends are invited to hear Christian recording artist Chris Tomlin in concert at Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal City Walk. More information is available by clicking here.
